Box card 40th Birthday

Hello again,

One final post before the big day, this one is my brother's 40th birthday card which I held off posting until after the day had been, he lives interstate and my parents drove down for a pre birthday party, being born Christmas week makes celebrating on the real day more difficult. I stayed home due to my complicated low histamine and Auto-Immune Protocol Diet, he will have opened his presents and cards so it is safe to share them here.

I did a little digging into 'famous' or 'popular' movies, bands/songs, kids toys, games etc. before making the card featuring a couple of big hit movies of 1977, I also bought him a genuine 1977 hit game, no not the true 1977 version but the still available in toy stores Rummikub, Star Wars Calendar, 40th Anniversary copy of Smokey and the Bandit etc. I haven't heard back from him so don't know how everything went down....

What I used:-
Black card stock
MME My Girl patterned paper
MME Happy Day papers
R2D2 Pattern from here (I shrunk it to the right size and added my own design)
Viewmaster made by tracing a photo of one I found on Google
Free Download James Bond (Papercrafts inspirations-no longer available)
CCD Balloon Die
CCD Sentiment Die
Lawn Fawn Riley's Alphabet
Black fine line pen
Memento Tuxedo Black ink
1977 printed in large print on PC and cut out of silver glitter card
Various coloured scrap card stock to make all the elements
Black and white twine
Clear acetate- saved from packaging
Adhesives:- Double sided tape, foam adhesive, Diamond Glaze, glue dots
The balloons all got a liberal coating of Diamond glaze to give them some shine
